Hala Mirowska
The oldest food market in Warsaw is the Mirovska Halle, built between 1899 and 1901. The buildings were used for Nazi executions during World War II, and caught on fire during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944, where bullet marks can still be seen on the walls today One of the halls now includes a supermarket, but what remains of the place provides traditional food, including vegetables and fruits, and the daily needs of the population in terms of food products.
