Hansel the Fisherman's Fountain
The Hansel Fisherman Fountain is located in Sopot Friends Square, and it was unveiled on April 5, 1998 AD, as it was designed by architect Brunon Wandtke. The sculpture of the fountain shows a young man carrying a basket of fish on his head, and the statue of Hansel the Fisherman is one of the symbols of Sopot. In 2010 AD, the fountain was dismantled and placed in a warehouse until the square was rebuilt, and after renovation in 2014 AD, a statue with a new fountain was placed in the square again.
