Harrat al Harrah Conservation
The 12,150-square-kilometer Harrat Al-Hurra Reserve was established in 1986 in an area full of undulating basalt lava fields, gravel plains and green valleys. It is located northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the borders of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and extends east of Wadi Al-Sarhan, and it is home to about 22 species of Animals, including reem antelope, Arabian wolf, red fox, sand fox, hare, and jerboa.
