Heroes Monument

Known locally as Tojo Tani, the Monument to Heroes is a bronze statue located just about 500 meters south of Monas in Jakarta. It was built to celebrate the heroes of the struggle of the Indonesian nation. It depicts a peasant with a gun on his shoulder and behind him a mother offers him a plate of rice and on his head is a traditional farmers' hat. Indonesia. It is also surrounded by a beautiful garden.
