Hili Oasis

Al Hili Oasis, which is the northernmost oasis in Al Ain, covers an area of 60 hectares and contains approximately 40,000 palm trees on 252 cultivated plots. The oasis contains many historical structures, including two watch towers and a fortified house built in the early 19th century. . The house of Bin Hadi Al Darmaki is located in the center of the oasis, and provides a good example of the fortified tower houses of the early nineteenth century that guarded the oasis at that time. The house consists of a rectangular enclosure with a large square tower at one corner.
