Description of the place
Hisar Castle dates back to the Ottoman era, when it was specially built to be a defensive stronghold to counter enemy campaigns and invasions. The castle was distinguished by its huge architectural design, with fortified walls, spacious yards, bastions, and training rooms. Today, nothing remains of the castle, except for some ruins that still stand as a witness to the antiquity of history.
