Hohematte Park
Hohematte Park
This picturesque area was established on an area of 14 hectares (one hectare is equal to 4,200 square meters) in the heart of Interlaken in the year 1860 AD, by a group of local residents, and it is a small example of the developments that have arisen in the city since that year. Today, the area is considered one of the most picturesque areas visited by locals and tourists in order to get a lot of rest and relaxation and get away from the noise and bustle of the city. It is easily accessible as it is located close to the eastern and western railways. In the garden there are many flower beds, and you will also find a garden called the Little Friendship Garden, which is the first Japanese garden in Switzerland.
