Hohenbaden Castle
Hohenbaden Castle
This castle in Baden-Baden was the seat of the margrave (historic region in the German Holy Roman Empire) and was built in the Middle Ages. The castle was built as the first command post of the margraves of Limburg after transferring their rule to the Upper Rhine on the western slope of the rocky mountain called Battert. The fort has been taken care of for years as a state-owned monument. From the tower of the castle, the view will appear as a wonderful panoramic image from Baden-Baden to the Rhine Valley, and then to the Vosges Mountain Range. A wonderful view worth seeing. The castle and tower tour is free. In addition to the presence of a restaurant in the castle.
