Holy Cross Cathedral

The construction of the Holy Cross Cathedral in the city of Irkutsk was completed in 1747 AD. The church is famous for its unique exterior design, where the facades are richly decorated, in addition to simple geometric shapes and flowers that match the complex design. Depending on the decor, you can see the influence of local Russian folk art, and this church is the only one in Siberia with interiors from the 17th century. The church is surrounded by a beautiful and picturesque garden that includes impressive ice sculptures in winter, while green herbs and picturesque trees abound in summer.
