Description of the place
Homem de Lime Beach is located in the city of Porto near Avenida de Montevideo. It is a rocky beach with a sandy stretch of 374 meters. It attracts many local and foreign families. It was the first beach in Porto to receive the Blue Flag award, and a bronze statue honoring fishermen is located near it. Designed by artist Américo Gomes in 1934, it is what gave the beach its current name.
