Hornendal Ski Resort is one of the best ski resorts in Stryn County. The resort opens its doors 6 months during the year before the snow melts. In this resort there is one of the longest slopes in Norway, a slope dedicated to skiing professionals only, with a height of 1650 meters. The resort also has many hiking trails and slopes suitable for all levels of professionalism, and cottages that can be rented. Hornendal Ski Resort is considered one of the safest ski centers in the region.
