House of the Count of Regla
The House of the Count of the Royal Governor was built in 1768 AD to serve as a residence for Pedro Romero de Terreros, and it was partially demolished in 1928 AD, and then it was declared a historical landmark. This house was designed in the style of stately homes built by the nobility of the period. Unlike most New Spain palaces, this mansion did not have annexes open to the street, but the windows on the ground floor were as high as the main gate, which gave it grandeur and grandeur. The palace was distinguished by the special attention that the Count placed in decorating each of the spaces and rooms with carved silver artifacts, which made it one of the most luxurious palaces in the city.
