Hunyadi Statue

It is a large statue located in the main square in the city of Pecs, and it is a statue that was built in honor of John Hunyad, nicknamed the "White Knight", who is considered a national hero and a prominent military and political figure in Hungary during the fifteenth century, where he fought in defense of the Kingdom of Hungary while it was attacked The Ottoman Turks from 1441 AD until his death. Where Hunyad defeated the Ottomans in many battles, and he died during one of the campaigns against the Ottoman forces in 1456, so this statue was built in honor of his heroics.
