Description of the place
The Hussein Pasha Mosque, located in the heart of the town, was built between 1573 and 1594 AD. It is one of the most beautiful sacred monuments and examples of Islamic architecture in Montenegro. It has unusual interior designs with wall paintings with geometric patterns and exquisite floral and Quranic motifs. It has one of the highest minarets in the world. The country, where it reaches a height of 42 meters.
