Description of the place
The Iglesia (Needle) monument is located near the Centenary Hall and takes the form of a needle. It was 106 meters high, but 10 meters were removed from it and its height is only 96 meters. This iconic landmark was built by the Polish communists to celebrate the restoration of control over lands stolen from them after World War II. Your trip to the city would not be complete without visiting this majestic monument and taking souvenir photos near it.
