Imam Muhammad bin Abdulwahhab Mosque

The Imam Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhab Mosque is considered the largest mosque in the State of Qatar. It is an Islamic civilized edifice inspired by Islamic architecture with a design based on the historical Qatari architecture of mosques. It is located in the heart of the Qatari capital, Doha. It organizes continuous events and activities to introduce the Islamic religion and spread its true values and teachings. The mosque occupies an area of 175,000 square meters, and can accommodate more than thirty thousand worshipers, in addition to a chapel for women, which can accommodate about 1,200 worshippers. The northern sides, to be used as shelves for preserving the Holy Qur’an.
