Imaret Mosque

The Emirate Mosque, which has preserved its magnificent structure, strength, and inscriptions since 1472, is located on Kortosh Street in the center of Afyon. It was built in 1472 by Cedek Ahmed Pasha; One of the ministers of Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih, it is the work of the engineer Ayad Agha, and it is also called the Kadak Ahmed Pasha Mosque. This place of worship, which is characterized by a huge structure, has only one minaret. The mosque was restored in 1795 by Mufti Ahmed.
