The Independence Museum is located near the State Hospital, and it was built in 1903 AD. The museum, which is distinguished by the combination of European-style palace architecture and the traditional style of Urfa house architecture and is spread over a very large area, consists of smoothly cut stone structures in the harem and salamalek sections, and it is possible to see traces of artillery shells and gunshots from those days on its walls. The museum displays weapons and equipment used in the enemy's occupation of Şanlıurfa, and mummified carvings of 12 people who started the Şanlıurfa liberation movement from enemy occupation are displayed.
