Kocaeli Museum

The Kocaeli Museum, also known as the Kocaeli Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum or the Izmit Museum, is a national museum that displays archaeological artifacts and ethnographic items. It is located in the former railway station in Izmit. 965 artifacts, 1,549 ethnographic pieces and 5,155 coins. In addition to the exhibition halls, there is a meeting room with 130 seats and a laboratory. Some of the museum's holdings are displayed in its indoor halls and others outdoors in the museum's yard.
