Istanbul Aquarium

Home to more than 1,500 marine animals, from sea turtles and other reptiles to piranhas and lance fish. Recreated marine environments mimic the natural habitats of animals, providing a safe home to a host of strange and unusual creatures. Also, if you have a diving certificate, you can join diving with sharks. The aquarium features a gift shop and restaurant, as well as other attractions such as a stage show. Although it is outside the city centre, it is easily accessible by bus or metro and includes plenty of parking for visitors arriving by car.
