Jacob August Riis Museum
This small museum in the city tells the story of the Danish-American journalist Jacob Riis, a native of the wonderful city of Ribe. Reese was a social reformer and documentary photographer whose work contributed greatly to urban reform in early-twentieth-century America. Among the museum's exhibits are some of his photographic works, books that tell his autobiography, and many works that explain how his works contributed to this civilizational transition.
