Jardim de Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara Park got its name from the seventeenth-century fountain that you can find in its center, which is surmounted by the statue of Saint Bárbara that belonged to the Remedios Monastery. It is located in the historic center of Braga, and is famous for its bright colors and beautifully arranged flowers. In the background, there is a medieval pavilion belonging to the Episcopal Palace of Braga, which gives the garden a distinctive historical touch and turns it into a more private place.
