Porto City Hall

At the top of Avenida dos Aliados (Allied Street) is the impressive Porto Town Hall, which features the architecture of the great collegiate palaces of Northern Europe. Construction of this powerful and massive building began in the 1920s according to a design by architect António Correia da Silva.
