Jebel Shams

Jabal Shams is the highest mountain in the Sultanate of Oman, and it is located in the heart of the western Al Hajar mountain range in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. It is one of the attractive tourist attractions worth exploring, with stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, the most important of which is Wadi Al Ghul, known as the "Grand Canyon of Oman", in addition to With its mild climate and the exciting trekking trails it offers, Jebel Shams has a number of hiking trails, the most famous of which is the Reem Walk to the deserted village of Al-Sab, which was once home to about 15 families who built their homes in the side of the cliff.
