Jeonju Namgosanseong Fortress

Jeonju Namgusang is a fort located in the Korean city of Jeonju, and it is believed that it was built in the year 1500, according to some historical manuscripts, but the information is not confirmed. Excavations carried out by a team from the Department of Archeology at University of Jeonju in 2015 revealed a large hall that may have been reserved for worshipers below the fort. There are only some minor remains left of the fort, but it is still one of the most important tourist attractions in Jeonju.
