Description of the place
Jongmyo Shrine is a royal shrine dedicated to performing ancestral rituals for the late kings and queens of the Joseon Dynasty. The other, this shrine is steeped in royal history and highly regarded for its exquisite architecture, is said to be the world's tallest single-timbered structure, at 109 meters tall, and is an outstanding example of traditional Korean architecture.
