Kadisha Grotto Bsharri

The Qadisha Bsharri Grotto is located near the Cedars of God forest and overlooks the Qadisha Valley. Monk John Barakat discovered this cave when he noticed the cold air coming out of it, but he was unable to enter it. Then a local committee was formed to uncover the cave so that the members of the committee could enter it to discover enchanting scenes of nature sculpture. Later, the cave was illuminated with lamps, and after the opening of the Qadisha Electric Factory, it was illuminated with electricity.
