Karol Poznanski Palace
This palace was built in 1877 by a Jewish businessman who owned the largest cotton mills in the country. Where the interior of the palace was designed in the Baroque style, the palace includes a banquet hall with a high ceiling and its walls are covered with mirrors that extend from floor to ceiling. Today, the palace is a public museum under state authority that houses exhibits of some famous people, including Arthur Rubinstein and resistance fighter Jan Karski.
