Kazan Cathedral is a Russian Orthodox cathedral, located on Nevsky Avenue in Saint Petersburg. It is dedicated to Our Lady of Kazan, one of the most revered symbols in Russia. This huge cathedral was built in the early nineteenth century on the model of St. Monument to Russia's victory over Napoleon in the War of 1812, and today houses the Museum of Religion.
