Description of the place
About 300 animals live in this park. There is so much to discover! Kobelt Zoo is located on the edge of the Schwanheimer Forest and is a paradise for animals. The garden spreads over 1.7 hectares (one hectare is equal to 10,000 square metres), goats moan, ponies and donkeys run. You will see guinea pigs and rabbits. You will see all kinds of snakes, reptiles, owls and eagles in their cage, kangaroos jumping between the trees, there are parrots and canaries too. Geese, ducks, and American tortoises. With a bit of luck, you will see the huge-winged eagle, with a wingspan of up to 1.70 metres.
