Kultepe

Koltepe is an archaeological site about 20 km southwest of the city of Kayseri. It consists of a hill, an ancient city, and a lower city where an Assyrian settlement called "Koltepe" was found. In 2014, the archaeological site was included in the list of World Heritage Sites in Turkey, as well. It is an important site for the discovery of the earliest traces of the Hittite language, the earliest attestation of any Indo-European language dated to the 20th century BC.
