Kurbad Jungborn

Recently renovated and restored, the Korbad Museum Jungborn is a remnant of the early days of modern bathing culture in Kassel and the last remaining of the many river baths in the area. The small museum is divided into four sections and presents the history and development of the various bathing facilities in Kassel such as river baths, outdoor and indoor municipal pools as well as public and private cleaning baths. The show currently focuses on representations of the river and its cleaning baths.
