Kykkos Monastery

Kykkos Monastery is located in the mountainous area of the city of Nicosia, and is the richest and most luxurious on the island. It is located on top of a mountain at an altitude of 1318 meters. The monastery was distinguished by its luxurious design, which was different from the rest of the monasteries in the country, with open external courtyards, and internal courtyards full of decorations, inscriptions, and arches. The monastery building includes a chapel, a museum, and some other distinctive facilities that still maintain their splendor to this day.
