La Madeleine
La Madeleine
beautiful and magnificent church built in the unique Greek style in France, in contrast to the style of other churches built in Paris in that era. It is a beautiful church built by Napoleon in honor of his forces. Napoleon ordered the demolition of the original church and the building of the Temple of Glory in honor of the great army on its ruins, and it later turned into a church. It is built on a 23-foot-high base, surrounded by an imposing portico of huge lacy columns, and the windowless building was constructed of pure stone. The niches in the portico contain thirty-four statues of saints. It is a great archaeological and architectural place that we recommend you to visit.
