Description of the place
Orta is a quiet lake with a length of 15 km and a width of 2 km. It is located in the southern Alps region west of Lakes Maggiore, Iso, Garda and Como. It is the smallest and most visited of these lakes. It is also surrounded by mountain heights and forest forests. It is characterized by a small island with an ancient medieval village called the island. San Giulio, which is famous for the San Giulio Church, which is located near the old archaeological school.
