Lake Sarnen

Lake Sarnen occupies 7.5 square kilometers of the canton of Obwalden, making it the largest lake in the region, standing at 469 meters above sea level. It is fed by Gross Milcha, Drewasserkanal and Sarner A, the latter flowing from the lake at the northern end near Sarnen before flowing into Lake Alpenach At the exit of the valley. On the shores of this lake there are many places suitable for camping, picnicking, relaxing and watching the beautiful surrounding landscapes, so do not miss visiting it.
