Letoon Ancient City

The city of Leyton was the main cult center of the province of Lycia, and as many inscriptions on the site show, it was the federal refuge in which all the religious and political decisions of the ruling authorities were announced. Greek and Lycian in addition to an Aramaic summary that was discovered near the Temple of Apollo. The site also contains artifacts dating back to Hadrian and built on a water source that was considered sacred.
