It is considered one of the most important libraries and cultural institutions in the city. It is an old antique library that was built in 1970 and contains many books and sources that were transferred from Tibet in 1959, including important Tibetan Buddhist manuscripts and archives related to the history of Tibet, along with many artistic and literary works. Also, as it owns more than 80,000 manuscripts, books and documents, the primary goal of establishing the library is to provide a comprehensive cultural resource at the highest level and to promote an environment that facilitates research and knowledge exchange in the city.
