Lion of the Bavarians

The Bavarian lion rock carving has great historical and tourist importance, as the size of the huge lion sleeping in the middle of the mountain and overlooking the city of Naviglio from the top attracts tourists to get close to it and explore it closely. This lion is one of the first contemporary sculptures found in modern-day Greece and was built in honor of the Bavarian soldiers who died of typhoid while at Naviglio.
