Lovcen National Park

The region of Montenegro Lovcen is a national park located in the southwest of Montenegro, and it is the place from which Montenegro derived its name, due to the dense vegetation that gives it a black color, as the region is covered with juniper and wild olive trees, and these trees block sunlight, which It makes the area dark and looks black to the viewer from afar. The national park includes the top of the rocky mountain and covers an area of 62.20 square kilometers. It was declared a national park in 1952. The park was also classified as a protected historical, cultural and architectural heritage in the region.
