Malampuzha Dam
Malampuzha Dam is the largest dam and reservoir in Kerala, with a length of 1849 square metres. The dam is located minutes away from the city of Palakkad, and was built after independence from the state of Madras in an area filled with trees and dense forests. It is a historical dam established in 1955, with a capacity of approximately 8,000 cubic meters of water. Visitors, both locals and tourists, come here for majestic views of the waters and surrounding forests.
