Malta Aviation Museum

Relive the history of aviation in Malta at the Malta Aviation Museum, this unique site has been created and maintained by dedicated volunteers and provides an insight into Malta's rich heritage and history. The museum is located on the grounds of the former Royal Air Force airport and is spread over three spaces that house over 20 expertly reconstructed aircraft, as well as an impressive collection of engines and other airfield equipment, and a number of other aircraft are currently being restored. Here visitors enjoy a permanent exhibition by the award-winning Maltese Society of Scale Designers that puts them in the historical context of the museum's pieces.
