Maospahit Temple

The Hindu temple of Mauspahit is famous for being the only temple in Bali that adheres to the Panca Mandala concept, where the central sanctuary is located in the center rather than facing Mount Agung, which is believed to be the spiritual center of Bali. It was built in the thirteenth century in Denpasar, and is characterized by its beautiful red brick architecture. Among its distinctive features are the colossal Garuda statue and the statue of Patara Bayur, the wind god.
