Mar Hırmız Chaldean Church

The Catholic Church, Mar Hermes Chaldean Church, built in 397 AD, is located in the center of old Mardin, right in the bazaar, and is one of the most important archaeological and religious monuments in the city. Despite its relatively small area compared to the rest of the churches in the city, it enjoys a beautiful synergy that surrounds you, with paintings and small statues inside, and decorations and inscriptions that decorate the facades and gates, in one of the most beautiful architectural artistic scenes in the country.
