This magnificent mansion was built in the 1830s by a wealthy Bengali merchant, and his family still owns this mansion, and they live in part of it, but they have opened a large part of it to visits. Inside the palace there are wonderful works of art collected by this merchant during his travels around the world, and among the exhibits you will find many paintings, some statues, and many embroideries, and there are many wonderful antique books in different languages in the museum. A guide will accompany you to the museum, who will explain to you all the pieces in detail. This museum also distinguishes that entry to it is free.
