Máré Castle

The medieval castle of Mary is located on one of the small wooded mountain peaks of Metsk above a beautiful valley. The building was built in the 13th century on the site of a wooden Gothic watchtower and was donated by Károly Róbert to István Bogar ( István Bogár), and later fell into the hands of Gunyafiak and then the Váradi family; It is worth noting that two small galleries can be seen in it and the wonderful panoramic views of the Metsk forests can be seen from its walls.
