Martinengo Bastion

The stronghold of Martinengo is a wonderful example of the art of military architecture of the Renaissance, and it is one of the city's attractions and distinctive archaeological sites, as it resembles the French forts that were built before the First World War; In addition, it was (and still is) a line of defense for the city, as the Turks did not attempt to attack the city from its side during the invasion period.
