Mayan Museum of Cancun

The Mayan Museum offers its visitors an amazing overview of the history and archeology of the Mayan civilization, making it a place worth visiting for anyone fascinated by this great civilization. It contains one of the most important collections of Mayan tools, which includes 400 pieces of sculptures, ceramic works, and jewelry, and one of its three halls displays temporary exhibitions under the title "Mayan Culture". This museum also includes the archaeological site of San Miguelito, which is an oasis of calm and includes about 40 historic Mayan buildings, including a 26-foot pyramid.
