Description of the place
The Italian government erected the Aki Kefalonia Soldiers Memorial in memory of the Italian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I in a heinous massacre carried out by the German army against them. Tourists can pass by this monument and may participate in the ceremonies held at it in memory of the massacre.
