This market was first held in the 1980's in San Juan County, and it gives the locals an opportunity to market their agricultural produce without having to go through middlemen. The stalls offer all the natural products of the region such as fruits, vegetables and fish along with traditional home-made products such as pastries, cheese, honey, etc., thus preserving the traditions of Tacoronte. It also sells famous brews made locally from small family vineyards.
